My first piece more or less completed. It was handed down from my grandparents and I believe it was made by Mr Rushbridge, a cabinet maker in Redhill, Surrey, probably in the 1930s - maybe earlier. Sadly I don't have a 'before' picture, but it was dark stained and varnished.

I've stripped the top back to the original wood and then used two different colours of matt paint for the rest and decoupaged fabric on the front panels. Finally it's been buffed up with a clear wax for protection.
